Elite IQ Laser — Hair Removal
Remove & Clear
Elite IQ laser hair removal uses dual-wavelength technology (755nm Alexandrite + 1064nm Nd:YAG) to achieve permanent hair reduction across all skin tones. The Skintel Melanin Reader — the first FDA-cleared melanin reader — objectively measures your skin's melanin content before each session to optimize settings for your exact skin tone, making treatments safer and more effective than older laser systems.

How it works
Laser energy targets melanin in the hair follicle, is absorbed as heat, and travels down the hair shaft to damage the follicle root — inhibiting future growth. Only follicles in the active growth phase (anagen) are effectively treated, which is why multiple sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart are necessary to catch all follicles at the right phase. The 755nm wavelength is optimal for lighter skin tones; the 1064nm for darker tones.
Who is it for?
Anyone wanting permanent hair reduction; all skin tones (including dark skin — 1064nm); all body areas including face, underarms, bikini, legs, back, chest; people experiencing ingrown hairs or razor bumps; those tired of regular shaving or waxing.
Who is it not for?
Blonde, gray, red, or white hair (insufficient melanin for laser to target); active tan or sun exposure (wait 4 weeks); pregnancy; photosensitizing medications; active skin infection in treatment area.
Session Time
15–60 min (depending on area)
Down Time
Mild redness 24 hrs; avoid sun exposure 2 weeks after
Results?
2–3 weeks post-treatment (shedding begins)
Peak Results
After full series (6–8 sessions)
How long does it last?
Permanent reduction; occasional touch-up as needed
How many sessions?
6–8 (spaced 4–6 weeks)
Build Your Protocol
Your skin has more than one concern. Your protocol should too.
Is laser hair removal safe for darker skin tones?
Yes — with the right wavelength. The 1064nm Nd:YAG laser safely bypasses surface melanin to target only the follicle, making it the gold standard for darker skin tones. The Skintel Melanin Reader further customizes settings for your individual melanin level — eliminating guesswork and reducing risk.
How many sessions do I need?
Most patients achieve 80–90% permanent reduction after 6–8 sessions. Hair grows in cycles, and laser only treats follicles in the active growth phase — which is why multiple sessions are required to catch all follicles. After your series, occasional touch-up sessions (once or twice a year) maintain results.
Does laser hair removal hurt?
Most describe it as a rubber band snap with each pulse. The Elite IQ has a contact cooling tip that touches your skin before every pulse, significantly reducing discomfort. Small areas like the upper lip take minutes; large areas like full legs take 45–60 minutes.
