Microneedling
Resurface & Repair
Microneedling (collagen induction therapy) uses a device with fine needles to create thousands of controlled micro-injuries in the skin. These micro-channels trigger the skin's natural wound healing cascade — stimulating collagen and elastin production to improve texture, tone, fine lines, and mild scarring. It's an effective standalone treatment and an ideal delivery system for regenerative add-ons like PRP or exosomes.

How it works
A motorized device with adjustable needle depth is passed over the skin, creating precise micro-channels at the targeted depth. This controlled injury triggers inflammation, then proliferation (collagen production), then remodeling — the same three-phase healing process the body uses to repair any wound, but precisely controlled for aesthetic improvement. PRP or exosomes can be applied immediately after to leverage the open channels for deeper penetration.
Who is it for?
Mild to moderate texture irregularities; uneven skin tone; fine lines; early acne scarring; dull skin; patients wanting a gentler entry point before progressing to Potenza RF microneedling.
Who is it not for?
Active acne breakouts in treatment area; open wounds or infections; pregnancy; current isotretinoin use; history of keloid scarring; sunburned or compromised skin.

Build Your Protocol
Your skin has more than one concern. Your protocol should too.
What's the difference between microneedling and Potenza?
Microneedling creates mechanical micro-injuries to stimulate surface-level collagen. Potenza adds RF energy delivered directly through the needles — amplifying the response and reaching deeper dermal layers. Potenza typically produces more significant results in fewer sessions. Microneedling is a great starting point for those newer to skin treatments.
Can I add PRP to my microneedling session?
Yes — and we highly recommend it. PRP (or exosomes) applied immediately after microneedling penetrate through the open channels directly into the dermis, dramatically amplifying the regenerative response. Many patients see noticeably better results with the combination.
How long is the downtime?
Skin will appear red (like a mild sunburn) for 24–48 hours. Mild flaking or peeling may occur days 3–5 as new skin surfaces. Most patients feel comfortable in public within 48 hours, especially with mineral makeup.
