Neurotoxin (Botox or Dysport) is an injectable neuromodulator that temporarily relaxes targeted facial muscles to smooth expression lines and prevent deepening wrinkles. It is the most extensively studied and clinically proven aesthetic treatment available — with decades of safety data and millions of treatments performed annually.

How it works
Neurotoxin is injected into specific muscles using ultra-fine needles. It blocks the neuromuscular junction — preventing the nerve signal from causing the muscle to contract. The targeted muscle relaxes, softening the overlying skin crease. Effects onset within 3–7 days, peak at 2 weeks, and last 3–4 months. With consistent treatment, wrinkles often become less deep over time.
Who is it for?
Expression lines on forehead, between brows (11s), or around eyes (crow's feet); preventive treatment starting in the 30s; jaw slimming (masseter reduction); neck bands (platysmal bands); brow lifting; excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis).
Who is it not for?
Pregnancy or breastfeeding; neuromuscular disorders (myasthenia gravis, ALS); active infection at injection site; known allergy to botulinum toxin.

Will I look frozen or unnatural?
Not with proper technique and dosing. Our goal is a natural, refreshed result — not a frozen face. We use conservative dosing and reassess at 2 weeks. If you want more movement preserved, just tell us.
What's the difference between Botox and Dysport?
Both are botulinum toxin type A with similar safety profiles. Dysport tends to spread slightly more and may onset faster. We'll recommend which is best suited for your treatment areas at your consultation.
Does it hurt?
The needles are ultra-fine and the treatment is very quick. We apply Target Cool cryotherapy before each injection to minimize pain and reduce bruising. Most patients are surprised by how comfortable it is.
