PDGF
Resurface & Repair
PDGF (platelet-derived growth factor) is a concentrated, refined regenerative preparation that isolates specific growth factors at significantly higher concentrations than standard PRP. It delivers a more targeted and powerful regenerative signal to tissue — making it particularly effective for patients with more advanced scarring, extensive tissue damage, or those who want maximum regenerative effect from their treatment.

How it works
Like PRP, PDGF is derived from your own blood through a specialized centrifugation and filtration process that concentrates specific growth factors — particularly PDGF-AA, PDGF-AB, and PDGF-BB — at levels higher than achievable with standard PRP preparation. These growth factors directly stimulate fibroblast proliferation, collagen synthesis, and angiogenesis (new blood vessel formation), producing a stronger and faster regenerative response.
Who is it for?
Advanced or stubborn acne scarring; patients who have tried PRP with limited response; deep or extensive tissue damage; patients wanting maximum regenerative effect; combination protocols with Potenza or microneedling.
Who is it not for?
Same contraindications as PRP: platelet disorders, active infection, immunosuppression, pregnancy, severe anemia.

Build Your Protocol
Your skin has more than one concern. Your protocol should too.
How is PDGF better than PRP?
PDGF is a more refined preparation with higher concentrations of specific growth factors responsible for tissue repair. For patients with significant scarring or those wanting stronger results, PDGF typically produces a more pronounced regenerative response than standard PRP.
Is PDGF from my own blood?
Yes — like PRP, PDGF is derived from your own blood through a specialized processing protocol. This makes it autologous and eliminates the risk of rejection or allergic reaction.
Should I choose PRP or PDGF?
We'll make this recommendation based on your specific concerns, scar depth, and treatment history. For mild to moderate concerns, PRP is often sufficient. For more advanced scarring or maximum results, PDGF offers a stronger regenerative stimulus.
