PRP Hair Restoration
Hair Restoration
Scalp PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy delivers concentrated growth factors directly to hair follicles via micro-injections into the scalp. These growth factors — including VEGF, IGF-1, and PDGF — reactivate dormant follicles, extend the anagen (growth) phase of the hair cycle, and stimulate thicker, stronger hair shaft production. It is a well-established, evidence-based approach to androgenetic alopecia and other forms of hair thinning.

How it works
Blood is drawn, centrifuged to concentrate the platelet-rich fraction, and then injected in a systematic grid pattern across the thinning areas of the scalp. PRP growth factors bind to follicle receptors, stimulating cellular proliferation and extending the growth phase of the hair cycle. Dormant miniaturized follicles are reactivated and begin producing thicker, more robust hairs over 3–6 months.
Who is it for?
Androgenetic alopecia (male or female pattern hair loss); diffuse hair thinning; receding hairline (early to moderate); alopecia areata; patients wanting to avoid oral hair loss medications or as an adjunct to medication; anyone in the early-to-moderate stages of hair loss.
Who is it not for?
Advanced hair loss where follicles are completely gone (scarring alopecia); platelet disorders; active scalp infection; immunosuppressive therapy; blood thinners (discuss with provider); pregnancy.

Build Your Protocol
Your skin has more than one concern. Your protocol should too.
How many sessions before I see results?
Hair restoration takes time — results are gradual and cumulative. Most patients notice reduced shedding after sessions 2–3, and visible new growth by month 4–6. We recommend 3–4 initial sessions before assessing full response.
Can women get PRP hair restoration?
Absolutely. Female pattern hair loss is very common and responds well to scalp PRP. The treatment protocol is the same — we assess your specific pattern of loss and customize accordingly.
How does PRP compare to Rogaine or Finasteride?
Medications work systemically and require continuous use. PRP works locally — directly stimulating follicles without systemic side effects. Many patients use PRP alongside medication for enhanced results, or choose PRP as an alternative if they prefer to avoid oral medications.
