Ultracol 200 is the world's first injectable filler based on microspherical polydioxanone (PDO) particles — the same safe, biodegradable material used in surgical sutures for decades. One vial contains the equivalent of more than 1,400 PDO monofilament threads, processed into uniform microspheres suspended in carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC). How it works
Once injected into the dermis or subcutis (via cannula or needle), PDO microspheres stimulate fibroblasts to produce type I and III collagen through a process called neocollagenesis. The PDO gradually hydrolyzes over 6–12 months, leaving behind newly formed collagen in its place. The result is progressive improvement in skin structure, elasticity, and volume — without the artificial look of immediate fillers.
