Custom Therapeutic Pillows
Getting you back to full function — not just pain-free
Most people spend 7–9 hours on their pillow every night — making it one of the most impactful (and most overlooked) factors in cervical spine health. A pillow that doesn't match your cervical curve and sleeping position creates sustained mechanical stress on the neck throughout the night, contributing to morning stiffness, headaches, and chronic neck pain. We prescribe therapeutic pillows matched to your specific anatomy and sleep position.

How it works
Your provider assesses your cervical curve, shoulder width, preferred sleeping position (side, back, or combination), and current symptoms. Based on this assessment, a therapeutic pillow is prescribed that maintains your neck in the ideal neutral position throughout the night — supporting the cervical curve without excessive flexion or extension. The right pillow keeps the spine aligned as effectively during sleep as your chiropractic adjustments do during waking hours.

Build Your Protocol
Your body has more than one concern. Your protocol should too.
Does it really matter what pillow I use?
Yes — significantly. Your cervical spine spends more hours on your pillow than in any other single position during the day. A pillow that creates even a few degrees of sustained cervical flexion or extension over 8 hours of sleep creates cumulative stress that directly contributes to stiffness, pain, and headaches — and undoes what your chiropractic adjustments are working to correct.
What if I'm a stomach sleeper?
Stomach sleeping is the most mechanically stressful position for the cervical spine — requiring the neck to be maximally rotated for hours at a time. We work with you on transitioning to a side or back position, and in the meantime, prescribe the most appropriate pillow to minimize the damage.
How is a therapeutic pillow different from a memory foam pillow?
Memory foam pillows conform to your head but don't necessarily maintain your cervical curve — they can still allow the neck to flex or extend depending on their height and your anatomy. Therapeutic pillows are selected based on your specific cervical measurements and sleep position to maintain a truly neutral spine throughout the night.
