Power Plate
Getting you back to full function — not just pain-free
Power Plate uses whole-body vibration (WBV) technology to rapidly stimulate muscle contractions across the entire body — engaging up to 95% of muscle fibers compared to conventional exercise. The vibration platform creates a tri-planar vibration that challenges balance, activates the neuromuscular system, accelerates lymphatic drainage, and enhances circulation — making it a powerful adjunct to chiropractic rehabilitation, pain management, and general conditioning.

How it works
Standing, sitting, or performing exercises on the Power Plate platform exposes your body to controlled vibrations (25–50Hz). These vibrations trigger a stretch reflex in muscles throughout the body, causing rapid involuntary contractions. This trains motor control, increases muscle strength and flexibility, stimulates bone density, and dramatically accelerates circulation and lymphatic flow — effects that would take significantly longer to achieve with conventional exercise alone.
Who is it for?
Rehabilitation after injury or chiropractic care; improving balance and stability; muscle activation in patients with limited mobility; general conditioning; osteoporosis prevention; patients wanting to accelerate recovery.
Who is it not for?
Recent fractures or implants; severe osteoporosis; pregnancy; acute disc herniation (consult provider); deep vein thrombosis; pacemakers; severe cardiovascular conditions.

Build Your Protocol
Your body has more than one concern. Your protocol should too.
How does Power Plate help with back pain?
Power Plate activates deep stabilizing muscles of the spine (multifidi, transversus abdominis) that are often inhibited by pain and injury. Restoring activation in these muscles reduces mechanical load on the joints and discs — addressing a key contributor to chronic back pain that manual therapy alone cannot fully correct.
Can I use Power Plate if I have osteoporosis?
Mild to moderate osteoporosis is often not a contraindication — WBV has been studied as a bone density intervention. Severe osteoporosis requires caution. We assess each patient individually and modify protocols as needed.
Is it just vibration — does it actually do anything?
Yes — WBV is supported by substantial research for improving muscle strength, balance, bone density, and circulation. Athletes, rehabilitation programs, and NASA (for astronaut muscle maintenance) have all used vibration training. At our clinic, it's a clinical tool, not a gimmick.
